I hope they pluck the loose holes in the defence asap. Goal difference may return to haunt us not only in CL but EPL too. We need some clean sheet games to boost defence morale.

Totally outplayed and lack any conviction... Man City has the hunger, we don't. They deserve the win.

The new Manager did not start well against the old rivals.... Hope he can get the team together and finish strong.

What more can we say about Moyes tactics??? MU is not make up of RVP, don't use RVP absence as one of the reasons of this demolition by MC. There was no conviction, I fully agreed. No plan B and C if first choice according to Moyes did not work. There were ample signs of our weaknesses from all the matches we have played so far, but yet nothing concrete was done to mitigate our weaknesses and booster our strengths. Moyes got to wake up and do a better job. Fellaini is not contributing effectlively enough at this level. Sad to say this, we shall see further losses if we carry on like this. No depth, no creativity, not enough commitment from some players, the list goes on....... How can it happen to us afterall the annoucement of SAF was well confirmed and informed in advance. The preparation before season begin were simply awful. We beat lower clubs, other top six clubs can also do so easily, the big matches we lost out, so where does it left us? Can someone ask SAF to return and Moyes be assistant manager for this season? Let Moyes learn the trades and culture of MU first. I am very frutstrated with the results so far.

    Capital One Cup third round

    Man Utd 1 - 0 Liverpool

Good performance from all the players after a nervy first half..... but much better in the 2nd half.
Always good to see Kagawa, Hernandez and Nani given a chance....The hunger, effort, all there...we will never know when is their next appearance !!!

Please stay with Hernandez and Rooney upfront if RVP is not available, Nani over Valencia and Kagawa over Young.

Agree, ditch Young for Kagawa. Between Nani and Valencia, both have their strength and weqkness, can make them work hard for their place in the team.

Nice win at OT Hernandez as usual at the right place right time!

Think for the past few games Moyes is still trying to figure out who to play what when and where (be it selection or BPL, CL, or other cups) we have a luxury pool of players for selection in which he dun have when in his previous team lesser selection problem...

N i can safely say no one rotate the squad as well as SAF did ... so moyes need to come in fast n settle down on his system of rotating the squad without having to pay too much of a price for it ...

Hope he find the winning formula soon!

Another loss... this time at Old Trafford... How long do we need to stand by our new manager?

Its getting from bad to worst. Very very angry, when was the last time we lost to WBA at home. Come on at a home game we cannot secure 3 points, we are doomed. Only 7 points for 6 games, what a shame. Moyes need to take drastic actions urgently. Even if we beat Sunderland which is at bottom of the table by 10 goals next Saturday means no consolation to us. What we need is consistent performances and wins to close the gap with the top 4 clubs, at least we stand a chance for CL. I just hope the decision to relief Moyes of his job does not come too late if we cannot beat Sunderland going forward. How many more chances can MU board allows him is to be seen.

No chance of getting Moyes off....

    He need to resign himself.....

Anyway, who can replace him? Sir Alex will be smart enough to stay out of this.

Moyes has no or not enough fire in him. Too timid to be mu manager at this level. Just listen to his interviews, too gentlemanly as far as I m concern. He needs to be more firm and assertive in his decisions. Looks like someone or more are behind him giving him the wrong guidance. As I said before, using Everton way for mu is asking for trouble. He is still finding the right combinations of fielding his good players on hand after at least 8 games in charge, it's a bit similar to Chelsea manager who is also trying to find the correct fix. Lets hope the worst is over for us and pick up full points at Sunderland to start our recovery process.

His comments really irks me. Come on, he inherited a squad who won the championship lat season by miles.

Should be a tough hard fought 3 points from our 2nd CL game?
