Hello OlyFolks,
Grab one at : http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/...oftware/#patch Description of Update : "Added [Histogram] to the [RAW Development] dialog box. Raw Development settings exclusively for E-1 now supported. The problem that "Exposure Compensation" was not always applied to RAW images correctly when "High Speed" was selected in the [RAW Development] dialog box has been fixed." Good Nite :-) |

Well the C7070 review is out (Thread Titled: "The Unofficial Camedia 7070 Review is now Official") but only just :-) It's at : http://home.pacific.net.sg/~cheeyean/Default.html A quick test just showed that a bug I mentioned in my C7070 review about Studio 1.2.1 is now fixed in 1.3. What a fortunate concidence, gotta update this in the review tomorrow. Sorry about lying low, the review sucked up 110% of my uni-processor CPU cycle for way too long. Just glad its done :-) Yes, pop by if you can, Most Welcome ! Cheers, |

think $120 is ok, considering the price of software such as capture 1.

Hello Tao,
Erhm, I'll be sad to hear that Studio can be gotten for $120 as I've paid more. I think the ball park pricing is higher than that. But I believe as a long-time customer, I'm getting quite a good deal although it isn't $120 ;-) BTW: Studio 1.3 has added two new RAW functions, Advanced High Speed Function and Advanced High Quality Function, the image parameter controls return to that used Studio v1.0. When it detects an RAW file taken with an E1, these two control option appear & values exactly as that from the E1 menu are available for adjustment. Cheers, |

Not having E300 RAW files to verify. I'm reporting from the response of Studio when selecting 7070 & E1 RAW files. When the Advanced mode of the RAW Development Engine is selected. The following parameters are available Exposure Compensation (+-2EV) White Balance (Similar Range of Colour Temp with exact repro of Icons) Contrast (+-2) Sharpness (-3 ... +5) Saturation (CS0-5, CM1-4) Noise Filter (On/Off) Colour Space (sRGB, AdobeRGB, ProPhotoRGB) Prior to this, the RAW parameters settings share the same interface regardless of which camera produces the RAW files. Not anymore, it's operates as if you're working off the LCD of the E1 :-) It also fixed an unreported bug where the a RAW file cannot be resized & converted for despatch to via email. Cheers, |
