I have no ideas.... so i need input.... anyone mod/change the parts on their manfrotto tripod before? im having a 190B... i like everything abt it less the release/lock for the legs.... its a knob... hard to competely lock and if turn too hard... hard to release... troublesome... anywhere i can get the parts to change it? CP got sell? or i can DIY

oh so u got the twist knob locks? just like my old 190B also. If CP or elsewhere got no parts for you to mod your tripod, then sell it. 190B is quite popular no matter knob or lever version. Sell it then buy another one new or second hand with quickrelease lever.

I have the original 190 and hated the twist/screw locks on the legs. When manfrotto introduced the snap-on locks for the 190 series (a few years back), I ordered just the snap-on locks from ruby... had to wait a few weeks, but it's worth it! You might want to check them out.

I also have a 190B, but unfortunately I lost one of the screw during one shoot out. Now I cannot use the tripod.
Any idea where I can get the screw or sparepart? |

how special is the screw? you can try kelatan lane. THere's a shop that specialises in selling screws. all shapes and sizes..
