Default Great shots and cool stuff...

Hiee there....

Great shots you got there and a great example of then 7D used with long focal length lens...esp. 400 APO G....

I'm lookin gat the 300mm f4 lens for now....is the polarising filter a necessity
all the time?.....as i know the lens will come with a "filter holder for the rear part and a dummy one inserted when bought new...is that right??

Well....thankx again....

Hi sulhan,

The Polarfilter is handy to get some more contrast in the image and to stop
reflections in water and reflective surface's
The rear filter is a 42mm drop-in clear filter.
the polar filter we use is a 42mm drop polar filter...
I bought the 400mm Apo G second-hand...i was very very lucky ..;-)

Best Regards

hi sulhan,

I'm not a minolta cam user, but I'm sure impressed by the image quality of the 400mm APO lens...and of course, the ability of the photographer behind it.

If you do go birding, I'll really appreciate if you can post some flight shots.
