Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if this is similar to EU where the sales tax only applies if the buyer is residing in EU. For buyers outside of US, it is like the airport, where you can claim back tax.
If final price is still alot cheaper than in SG.... why not ??

Just to highlight, UK automatically applies VAT on all Internet sales, but if the delivery is outside of UK, the VAT is also removed.
If the policy on this is similar, then this would not have any effect on Singaporean consumers.
The law only applies to 45 states.
So that means that 5 states are exempt from this so Oregon should be out as there is no sales tax in that state.
If the state you are shipping to does not have sales tax, then shouldn't need to pay when the bill is tallied.
Some genius in US will figure out a way to side step the tax legally.
