Oooh, is the sunrise craze back again? Good angle, but the yellow seems to be a tad bit greenish.

you are right, it was kinda cloudy on that day, so not much of a sunrise.
I'll check my calibration, thanks

No craze, I went on my own. I see that sunsets are in again.

I think this is a very good shot... maybe a tini-bit too underexposed, but otherwise ok.

At Changi Broadwalk, sunsets are more dramatic as the sun is on the left side of the kelong and can be seen clearly. But for sunrise, the sun is "hidden" on the right side (more toward inland). I think for sunrise, Tuas or the west side is so much better. East coast/ City is also good for both sunset and sunrise. But for Changi village, Pasir Ris, Punggol beaches, etc ... the sunrise is not so dramatic.

I konw about the sunsets at this location, I have shot there earlier

But I am confused, my thinking was that the sunrise was better from the eastern end of our island.

And sunsets were better around tuas and the west side, the sun sets in the west, yes?

you just might be right about the too under exposed thing. a bit of shadow detail on the jetty would be good. I'll see what PS can do. Check back later.

IMHO, Sunset at Labrador is good.. and Sunrise at Changi Village, after the SAF Ferry terminal, there is a small carpark, walks towards the beach and you can catch the whole process of sunrise... very nice...

Sunrise @ Changi

Sunset @ Labrador
