Quotation is closed. You might be able to get a quote from Wing Shing or Man Shing. I can help you with the purchase if you are interested.

Yes, if you are not intending to wait for grey set pricing. I am still chasing the shop for the quotation .

However, you can also instruct me to look for grey set. If I can't find grey set, I can purchase the local warranty set. Please call me to arrange. I have to collect the money latest by 9 May.

Hey one thing I remembered when participating in a MO for Shure In-ear phones a while ago in another forum, for goods above $500 brought in by mail, there was a GST of 5% charged, will you be taxed for bringing in so much camera equipment?

I checked and this link below from the Customs Office may be of some use for this MO? Pls correct me if I'm mistaken, this is only paper research...

Dear all,

Here's the final quotation received from Wing Shing and Tin Cheung. Sigma, Gitzo and grey pricings are in!!! Some items may not be stocked by both.
If you intend to confirm your order, please call me latest by this Sat 7 May to make arrangements.

*** Special Note: SB800 (grey set) going for HK$2,200 (around $463 @4.75 rate)

Being a frequent traveller, I won't worry too much about it.

do note that if you pay by credit card, you might need to pay 2% more.

Yes, unfortunately. Sometimes I really wonder if their profit margin is that low...

So far I have not come across a shop that will say or admit of their high profit margin.

On second thought, perhaps what they said might make some sense if taking into consideration of their 6mth bonus as part of the total margin. Unless they are willing to reduce their bonus loh, otherwise.....cheers!
