UWA lens dilemna

hi ppl..

i've been recently thinking of upgrading to a UWA lens.. and letting go of my d70 kit lens.. since i got to own a nice portrait lens (tamron 90mm).

kinda undecided btw the 14mm f2.8 from sigma (HSM) and tamron for NIKON mount?

anyone has had exp w/ either or both these lenses?

pretty pricey stuff.. so i'm trying to collate as much info as possible for a start.
