Counterfeit CF cards reported

According to a thread in PhotoMalaysia one of their members seem to have come across fake Kingston CF card.......... anyone have same experience?

is this true or just poor quality control for a certain batch?

I do not think I want to fake the Kingston brand. Probably a bad batch. I will fake a Lexar or Sandisk. But the manufacturing costs these days aren't worth the effort. I heard Kingston is OEM by Hitachi.

Agreed, you see fake LV wallet but you don't see fake Giordano clothes (or may be I haven't seen one yet

Molding problem.....CF card on high side of tolerence....and CF slot on the smaller side of tolerance....

so big fit into small...become tight.....

I remember got 1 episode of Guess Guess Guess. Jacky Wu bought a fake pair of Hang Ten socks. He still show it to the audience. The fake Hang Ten socks got 6 toes.

i saw a GIODINO in vietnam market!

anyway giodano jeans are quite good and more expensive compared to other similar brands like b+++++, h++++++ ...

cannot compare to levis and stuff...

so, what does the fake card ID itself as huh? Each card has ID of its controller etc.
