Join like-minded photography enthusiasts for an evening of photography at SAM. Stephen Loh, one of Singapore's top wedding photographers, will share his ideas on the process of coming up with original concepts and translating them into award winning photographs. James Tan, a much sought after print master, will also explain the art of getting consistently good prints from commercially available printers. The talk will be followed by demonstrations by Stephen and James of a wedding photo shoot and the steps needed for Monitor Profiling and Printer Calibration using Canon printers.
Stephen is a two-time winner of the Master Photographer Association (MPA) Awards in the Contemporary category and one of the founders of Lyrical Moments which specialises in original ideas for experimental wedding photography. James is regarded by some of the best known photographers as one of the most sought after print-makers in Singapore. He is Singapore's first operator of professional grade large scale fine art printers capable of producing details for large prints measuring over 5 x10 feet in size. James is also the only Fellow-ranked Digital Print Maker in the Master Photographers Association (MPA) of the UK and is the first Asian Judge in the high-level MPA photo competition since in 2011.
