From point and shoot cameras,i'm now trying to move into 35mm analog slr's so could anyone please tell me what would be a suitable model for an amateur like me ?

FM10. Cheap, all functions fully manual. Forces you to LEARN all the basics.

FM2. FM3/A are good manual cameras. Maybe you should look at the Buy and Sell section of the forum for more 2nd hand deals.

FM2 (Manual) or F80 (AF). F80 is rather affordable for u as u are starting an SLR. so will not bleed ur pocket so jia lat.
FM2 is a full manual cam. very good too.. hmmm. no nid to tell u, the camera is too good. i also dunno wad to say about it too.. simply too good for me. lol..

Got an F80 for sale. Use less than a year before going digital. Almost like new. If anyone interested, please PM me. F80 is the best cam for the amateur and even for the serious amateur - unlikely to outgrow it. I could be using it for the next 10 years or so, if it's not for the irresistable digital wave.

Just bought D70 so no money. Then now targeting the 50mm f1.8 prime leh... Fm2 ah Fm2 ...tsk tsk
