Default My First EOS 350D Test Shot

Comments and flames are most welcome.

Anyway most of the few pics i took is quite blur.
Must try and meddle with it more.
I think the kit lens has a bit of back focus.

Any idea why your pics are blur? If it's out of focus, am sure what you saw in the viewfinder would have been blur as well.

Maybe your in-camera has Sharpening set to None?

What do you think went wrong? In the test shot of the X-Wing, what are your objectives in posting that picture? Are you showing just us the brilliant gold and red?

The picture was taken in a low light condition.
So I use MF to take the picture.
And somemore I think I overdid it with photoshop.
Yeah notice that the tablecloth is also sharper than the subject intended.
Setting is all normal.

Hmmm the kit lens is not able to focus that well in low light condition.

Interesting shot..
But I think you overdid it with the unsharp mask in PS, am I right ??
Crop to the best composition and then use levels, levels, levels !!
I think you should keep it real like most of your previous photos...
