Sure you can get 3rd party collars, any machine shop can knock them up for you at a cost that will be probably 2-3 times as much as buying them from Nikon or an authorised stockist of Nikon spare parts. The same applies to Sigma collars.

No sympathy from me for loosing collars, I've never lost one in over 27 years of professional photography.

You can try eBay and some of the camera shop service departments both in SG and around the world via the net. Just make sure you email in legible english, not that Singlish crap u posted above lah.

I've never seen any collars apart from 3rd party collars for the old one touch 80-200/2.8 AF's available on eBay. I see you going down to Nikon SG and buying them for big $$ .... that will teach you not to look after your kit

But it cost a arm & leg man .. $250. But this is not like the one that comes with the 70-200 one .. its a lot more steady and controlled.

U can check them out.

Yeah, I can just about understand someone loosing one tripod collar, but not two. That smacks of incompetence big time on the part of the photographer.

If glenny had lost a couple of supertele lens hoods he'd really know what big $$ means. Some of them run close on 1,000.00 SGD.
