Can the D70 shoot at specified intervals?
I would like to shoot star trails and have really long exposures. If i want to expose 10 times of durations 10 mins each, other than using Nikon capture by laptop and the cable( ) is there any way to automate this process?IR remote using pda? or is there any device that can send out the IR signal to D70 to shoot at regular intervals? try this link .
PDA can, actually any MCU with IrMod can do it. Do a Ir capture (somthing like sniff) and throw the Ir signals back out.

i did went to check out harbortronics. saw the digisnap2000 afew days ago but had thought it was more for coolpix.
couldn't there be any simpler device that can just throw out the remote IR trigger signal at specified intervals? sigh... although, any pda with omni remote that can emulate our ML-L1 IR signal, there isn't any program for interval.... would it be good if someone can come out with a design of a intervalometer for D70.... |
