Default Any chance D2H price will drop 'drastically'?
Since the D2Hs is out. And can anyone here enlighten me what is the price for a new D2H now.

confirmed, i was there ytd! lol.. and i saw someone already holding onto the last set le.... i dunno if its still there...

Price for a new D2H in the US is USD$1995. Given that the new D2Hs is rather high in price, I doubt the D2H will drop in price. The price gap between these 2 is quite wide at the moment.

Unless I kenna big project, 3K is still out of my reach at the moment.
In any case, no IMF is willing to grant me the loan.

Thanx for the reply but am abt confuse... u mean there are black body and grey body for the D2H or are you refering it to one without warranty...and so on....
And where is TCW?

a "grey" set means that it is new, but without warranty, not the colour of the set.

IF you have friends or relatives in the US .. better grab one from there.
USD 1995 + GST + peace of mind for one year is ok compared to a S$ 5800 locally.

As you know .. D2H does have some defect that make some pro went nuts.
[look up in CS for other thread re. D2H if you really want to know ]

That's why I said if you have friends or relatives there.
I don't know how the grey set in SG works .. but in Indonesia they are normally covered by 3 months shop w'ty only and in Australia, well ... there are no D2H grey set afaik

TCW D2h is covered with In SHop warranty of 1year.

I went through two D2H bodies and both had metering failures... I'm currently waiting for the replacement from Nikon UK in the form a new D2Hs. Was supposed to arrive 25 March but have been told that it will be 15 April... one more week to go...
