Metz 50 MZ-3 or 4?

What's the major differences between the earlier Metz 50 MZ-3 and the latest MZ-4? Which is a better buy?

Any idea how much they cost now? Thanks!

the only difference would be to NIKON users
since it supports the new NIKON something something
flash system

but for CANON users ETTL is supported already in the Mz3
so that is little to no difference.

Most users are using CANON with 54Mz3 and have AUTO MODE, which is the chief reason for buying 54mz3.
it gives very consistent results.

yup, not too much of a difference for Canon users but for Nikon yes as the lastest version of 54MZ4i support i-TTL & 3D Matrix. Price difference between MZ3 & MZ4 is around $100.

i thought mz3 is discontinued while mz4 is the latest version ......hmmm.....how much is mz3 nowadays ??

I just asked Cathay for a quote last Saturday. I think MZ3 is discontinued and MZ4 costs $600.
