    Default Over-used phrases on US TV channels

    http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/oreilly/index.html#http://video.foxnews.com/v/2255649950001/dont-use-clichs/?playlist_id=1740294866001

    There are some hackneyed phrases by US TV presenters, by their show guests and the general public they interview.

    • Awesome....
    • At the end of the day....
    • Going forward....

    Limited vocabulary.

    Some one here has mentioned in another thread, the over use of "You know"...like a mental crutch to just say something in the silent gap while the speaker's slow brain is trying to think of what next to say.

    "Going forward..." I find that its also over-used by managers to divert attention from their clients when something screw up.

    I find the number "2016" overly used in the internet forum.... especially at HardwareZone... everytime a certain party is being blamed for everything...

    Normally it goes -

    * Can't wait till 2016
    * You know what to do in 2016
    * Its time to kick them out in 2016
    * etc etc etc...

    Or an utter disaster when everyone with short-term visions elect people with short-term visions...
