hi guys. i would like to know Nikon is made in which country? coz these days hardly any japanese stuff r made in japan.

Depends on which model. For example D100 and other higher range models are from Japan, whereas D70 is from Thailand.

Batteries like EN EL3 used to be produced in Japan. now, i am told they are produced in China.

ya.. what's the matters where the product manufacture??

its all from nikon, and they (or other brands) take pride for their products lo,
and sure enough the QC will be there to ensure pass on quality..
you buy the product or source of origin?

many times people take into consideration that only things out from japan are good, but when things from japan malfunction or what, I didint hear complains... funny...

be easy, where its made, the same lah...

Should be 4 countries: Japan, China, Thailand and Indonesia.

The newer coolpix cameras are made in indonesia.
