Which 3rd parties wide prime to buy.

Hi,

Need advise and recommendations on the most favourable 3rd party wide angle prime lens (16mm ...18mm...) thats available in the marrket now.
I am considering it to go with my 350D. My walk about lens currently is the 24-70 L. Appreciate the views and comments. Thanks!!

I'm not sure how wide you need, but one of the best 3rd party primes is the 20m f1.8 by Sigma. Quite an incredible lens, but rather chunky

I recommend the Sigma 20mm f1.8. Do a search and you will read lots of good things about it.

Below 20mm, not much choice except for Tokina 17mm f3.5.

If you don't mind fisheye, the Sigma 15mm f2.8 is good value.
