    Default Off Camera Flash

    Hi guys, I'm new to off camera flash so I wanna ask. If I have a LED light attached to my camera hotshoe and I wanna fire off my nikon SB 900 speedlite wirelessly, what do I need to get? Can anyone advice?

    Depending on your camera model, you might not even need to buy anything. Just trigger the flash using the built-in Nikon CLS.

    If your LED light on the hotshoe does not block your pop up flash or prevent it from going off, you can use CLS.

    Yes, your D300s can, please read the manual to learn how to do it.

    get a dual hotshoe adapter. one for trigger one for led light.

    was wondering as well.maybe he wanna shoot bts vid hahahahaha or fill with the led. lol.
