Default LCD to monitor

The picture appear very well in my 20D LCD but when loaded into my PC the picture is very much under exposed. Do you guys have the same problem and any proposed solutions? I am sure my monitor is quite bright as I do not have problems with my digital video.

Dats the bad thing abt the LCD, it fools the hell out of everyone.

For me, I turn the brightness of the LCD to the bare minimum, overexpose my pictures a little and voila!

What I personally do is, if the subject peak is to the left of the middle collumn it is underexposed. But generally I would not worry about it too much, more worry about clipping.
