how did you get so close the fly without scaring it away?

Moving in slowly, every step was slow motion.

Think the lens was 2cm away from my subject.

2cm? man you're good. When I approach like half a meter they fly away already. especially the moths/butterflies.. for you

I am not good but u need to know when to approach them. I will try not to aproach them when the sun is just out cos when the temp getting hotter, they are getting more active. I will either shoot them before the temp really that high or wait till the temp gone lower. They will rest at one side and u slowly approach them, they shouldnt reject u.

Let's go shoot them one of this day?

What gears you are using? Somehow, they are not important though hehe
