I think two of my friends don't use any anit-virus protection on their home computers. They don't seem to need it.

If kenna virus I will lose a day or two of photography works. Not fatal but enough to upset me.

Norton is probably a very safe bet, I use it on some of our machines and have been happy with it.

nothing is happening to their computers doesn't mean they don't need it.

as for me, i'm using NAV2005 but i don't turn on real time protection. however i still do occassional virus checking and able to find some virus lurking inside the computer, although they don't cause any harms to my computer.

No AV here. We ensure safe computing at home, no IE, no outlook, no micro$oft cr@p as far as possible, and a decent firewall on windoze. Mostly use linux. No viruses as long as I can remember.

hehehehe....recommending one of the better Trojan cleaners is called "THE CLEANER by Moo!Live"

used it for a year over now.. very good and constant updates. Otherwise, Microsoft has an AntiSpyware program (in beta now) which I felt was not badz oso...

used to use AdAware Pro and Sygate SE Personal Firewall but I think for now, Norton is safe and reliable enough. (plus I have XP's SP2 running oso)

Mac... hahaha... no need protection coz the OS itself is already so inaccessible liao
