Its official....

I am a proud owner of Dynax 7D as of today.... Just arrive today....

Seems to work fine... new firmware upgraded... Might need to adjust the flash... seems to be 0.5 to 1 stop lower than it should be..

hehehe... sorry, just can't help it... Just want to share the joy..

Hahahaha... what a long list... Focus is fine, CCD is fine, AS ok, Software -- don't bother... using CS for RAW. everything is fine, just the flash have 0.5 to 1 stop under... but will try again... just a quick test.

I don't worry too much lar... just have fun and go for shoot...

I don't know how to post images to clubsnap... but I do post my stuff on treklens... the address is on my signature.. but none of stuff taken with 7D yet.

hehehe... no, hopefully I don't accidentally drop it....

EVF of my A2 broken off after car accident... KM Sin is nice enough to fix it for free... but please don't quote me on that... it has taken about 6 weeks now, and no sign of the parts coming...

Anyway, got my 7D... so doesn't matter... I can wait for it...

The underexposing flash can be fixed... send in to KM service centre.... takes about 45min. They will ask you if u find the exposure ok.... I said ok, but in that rather dim showroom plus rather inexperienced (I had it for 1 day only before going to calibrate the flash), not easy to tell.

I find that my flash underexposure is not very consistent but I suspect that it might have to do with the subject.... I was shooting pics of my sis and mum and I registered about 1 1/3EV under. But when I shot my PC setup (same lighting, in same room), I get 2/3 EV under. I have a large white laser printer the size of my white 19" SONY G420 monitor plus a white flatbed scanner (about A3 size) plus white speaker satellites... maybe the reflectivity is much greater hence the lower underexposure.

TME, TTL flash works like usual metering mode.. still subject depends. That's why ADI suppose to produce more accurate exposure with distance info.
