taken from DPReview.com

Viewfinder
• 0.44-inch electronic viewfinder
• Approx coverage 100%
• Dioptre adjustment
• 320 x 240 pixels
• 235,000 visible dots

what i understand is that, the EVF physical dimension is 0.44 inch, you see 100% of what you'll shoot through the lens. the resolution of the EVF is 320x240 using 235K dots. errr... i also catch no ball.

Each pixel makes up of 3 RGB color dot.. so the total pixel you see is actually the manufacturer given number divided by 3..

(How come we talk so much about RGB, CMYK today? )
