Default Butterfly Mission

Taken on Sat 26/8... First try on butterfly.

not good go back and try again ...

the flash seem like too strong ...

not close enough, subject not big enough...and is a bit blur. Megaweb's shots are very good example to learn...

Aiya... still learning to take macro mah.... my manual focusing not good. I have closer shot, will post it up later.

Some of my suggestions:

1. use extension tube to blur the background and also be closer to your subject;
2. If u use fill-in flash, should -1/3~-1 stop;
3. Watch the background, try to find some uniform color(s);
4. Use long lens to compress the background (so u will more likely get a uniform background);
5. Try to compose better to maximize the impact of your main subject (it would be easier if u can go closer);
