Default Minolta AF 135mm F/2.8

Does anybody own the lens listed above? Any comments? Would appreciate if someone can show me samples taken with the lens.

TIA!

Default lens

Hi there,

One of the best lens I used to have... I don't have the sample that I can show you, but if you are intended to buy this lens for portrait it will be a perfect choice, a bit too long though if you are thinking of using it for portrait on Dynax 7D...

It is light and sharp. All I can say is you will be surprise with the quality...

I sold that when I bought the 100mm f2.8 D macro...

Thanks! True, 135mm not easy to find. Saw one at ebay at a good price. How much did u pay for yours & where did u get it?

Let me know if you are going for the gathering, I might join in too. I usually avoid big gatherings cos very shy

ooooo i got mine in cs lor where else from iamasaint (I'm sure u've heard of him, he used to be minolta user too). Hhmmm i got it for like $300 or so I think. Can't really remember coz it was like one or two years ago but it should be around there.

what's the price like in ebay?? anyway in ebay, prices only hike at the last 5-10mins.. so gotto really stay by the computer the last few minutes..
Better be careful there coz there's been a number of con cases. I've bought stuff from there before and I know some others who do too so you just need to be careful.

actually me also abit shy to go big gatherings. Feel abit stressed if dunno anyone.... wah if I go then you better make sure you go too

I just bought this lens second hand recently. Here are some test shots... I can say that it is a superb portrait lens, nice bokeh and rich colours...

Hi Vivien,

Forgot to mention for the flower and bee shot, I used a +4 close up filter with that lens... But it still is a very good portrait lens indeed. I did take some portrait shots, but its on slides. I highly recommend it.
