anyone used and know the vario-sonnar T 24-85mm/3.5-4.5 lens for contax N?
In term of image quality,is it really like the ad said its equal to fixed lens of similar focal length?beside slower aperture.

Hi got quote from CP entry level system.
NX=1250
28-80mm/3.5-5.6 = 800
24-85mm/3.5-4.5 =1850(no stock)
this 2 lens price so much difference,same quality meh?

I would suggest that you try your luck on eBay for the NX+28-80 zoom. Both items are going for about USD599 exclulding shipping and GST.

And not forgetting to check up on b&h and adorama websites. There is a sale going on for the N1+24-85 and NX+28-80. It is USD799.95 and USD349 respectively. I am placing my order for the N1 kit later in the day!
