Default Wedding... beautiful!

This wedding revived my ailing passion. Beautiful couple, excellent day. Hope the photos reflect that...

Default 8???

3. Overall colors are nice, but the frame sticking out of the Bride's head is abit distracting.
4. Flash light is too harsh. If the lady behind can show more of her face, that will be nicer. To actually show the happiness in the house and of cos from the Bride groom.
6. One of the lady got hidden behind someone.
8. The bride groom is almost merges with the dark stairs.
9. The lamp post is coming out of the bride groom head.

Some details of the clothes are a good keeper. Else got to pay more attention to backgrounds.

Hope you dont mind the comments.

Comment?

Solid colors! Hey, how to get a good solid color? What are the settings? And what lens are you using?

thanx sumball and john!

ambient: no not at all appreciate the comments really! for #3, totally agree with you there, contemplated removing it thru ps, but thought against it. next time i will be more vigiliant to see such things in my frame. same goes for #9, which i did notice too. maybe i will PS that one. it's much simpler :P unforfunately for no4 there's no choice, it was 6am in the morning totally black already using bounce card. but yeah pity his hands were blocking the laughter behind him.

as for #8, i meant for the grrom to "fade out" the only part is his hand pulling his bride along.. i guess it's a subjective issue, i do like it as is. thanx for your comments!!

kenji: i use my eye, and press the shutter :P

ahahah ok in all seriousness, the rich colours are prob due to the cam, s2pro. post processing helps too, mainly using curves. i had a little problem balancing the colours in the bride's room, as u can see one wall yellow another blue and ceiling is white. lighting bouncing everywhere so the colours are different for different shots. settings wise, i almost always shoot at f5.6-8 unless i need a shallow DOF so down to 2.8 (eg #10), or it's too bright outside, so up to about 11-13 (eg #11). iso settings dark indoor 800, bright indoor 400, cloudy outdoor 200 sunny outdoor 100. pretty standard lar
