Hi. Just my 2 cents. Camera gears are tools. The artists are the ones behind the camera.
At the same time, those tools have limitations. No matter how good you are, you are limited by the camera or the lenses you used. And then there is the matter of your photography skills.
Have a good wide fast zoom. A few fast primes. Shoot your heart out. Cam bodies, they keep introducing new every few months time. You want to keep up?
If money's no object, get the best forget the rest. But also know that plenty of pros still are using old cameras and producing excellent results. Just my humble opinion.

There's a whole bunch of photographers in CS who are drooling at your equipment list right now. I doubt it's holding you back -- that's more your own fears and doubts. Just go out, shoot and learn, and you'll discover what it can do.

The only way your gear is likely to let you down is if you try to run with it. Not the heaviest setup ever, but not lightweight either

Just add a flash and you be good for all most anything. If all else fails set to P mode shoot (for indoors with flash) shoot at iso above 1000.

hi, my advice to you to sell all your equipment, you anyway don't know how to use it. buy a film body eg. 1n with a wide(for landscapes) short tele (for portraits) and a tele lens.
look for a quality photo course instead. and buy better equipment just when the equipment will be your limitation. probably at the moment your
gear knows more about photography than yourself.

TS, if you need to ask that question, you really need to understand photography better. The gears are already very good. Just improve your skills.

Go read up or sign up for some courses. And shoot a lot.

    please be nice to newbie,

do remember than drool over other people's gears (property) is a sin ...........

    jealousy is also a sin......

so be contented with what you have in your hands, and put your trust in your skills than your gears.

Hi TS, imo your equipments are very new & got lots of potential as well. Many of us don't have what u got
now... Of course if u want to compare with the "top" gear others have, there's always a difference.
Read more about photography, & also note down what u want to try out & go out to shoot. Review the bad
shot u taken & see what's went wrong... it can help improve your photography skill a lot, by then u will know
the limitation, is your skill or gears.

    drool.... oops sorry sorry

can take a look at this section for workshops if you want more hands on help... no specific courses for candid/decoration/concert photography, but can see at least 2 on landscape photography
    Workshops, Tutorials and Classes

if not can join some outings in the outings section, people are generally keen to share if you ask (of course can't expect hand-holding as no one's paid to do that), just beware that you may be poisoned to get even more gear when you see others with bigger guns

The seniors here have very good advices, only after you shoot more and understand your equipment more then you will know what you need. Every piece of equipment out there have their pros and cons

    Happy shooting

Almost everyone is guilty for wanting better. I guess, the min you wonders if your gears are good enough, you're alr thinking of upgrading. It has nothing to do with skills, functions and practicality. Nothing wrong with that. If you have the means, who's to say you can't. Asking others is more like asking for approval more than anything... Anyways, you know what you want but what's essential is totally another matter.

equipment is frankly, very good...in fact, much better than mine.
wat i think u need is more practice. Then u will know what u need.

Equipments should be your least concern. You should be concentrating on your position, angles and the available lights.

I think you just need assurance right? Try searching in photo site like flickr for photos taken with the gears you have. Look at the photos you have taken yourself with these gears and compare and I am sure you will find the answer what is needed to move you forward in taking good photos.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for pro photography equipments, I can tell you I don't have any. But what I do have are a particular set of skills, skills I have acquired using just an APS-C camera and kit lenses (and a fast 50). Skills that make me a nightmare for gearheads like you. If you just go out there and keep shooting and practise, that will be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, CSers will drool over your gear, call you a noob, and tell you to just go out and shoot.

    ...

    Good luck!

They are more than enough, TS. They are so good that, most of us here ( well at least me hehehe), cannot even buy your gears - they're so expensive (for me) - so yes I can say, they are more than good enough.
