    Default iPod as storage

Read this from dpreview, that iPod has come out with a camera connector that can transfer pictures to the iPod.

Don't you think this would be better as compare to standard storage bin, since you can use iPod as storage and mp3 player??

Don't forget, you will be running down the batteries of your digital camera while doing the transfer. I presume the transfer is done through the USB cable rather than directly from your flash card. You may not have much juice left in your camera to take more photos if the transfer is slow. Dedicated image storage devices run on their own batteries.
