KL - certain Yes as MLY capital city.
I believe this is extracted from the initial proposal by YTL group.....The choice is logical as these are major Cities/towns along the west coast....and YTL being a business man knows his sum rather than sentimental value.....it will be really disastrous to build a stop at some kampung area with no one boarding alighting...the stops are not only mean for tourist.....rather....for day to day commuters for work and business....and Seremban is certainly not small by Malaysia std....

I am hearing the MRT extension to JB will be from Woodlands and the high speed rail to KL not determined yet. So there will be 2 railways to JB ?

So both rail will pass through Iskandar?

What do you guys think of the property investments in Iskandar within the next 5, 10, 15 years?

Will Iskandar become the next death trap for Singaporeans where we will likely to be pick-pocketed, robbed, snatched, stabbed, etc?

The Johor Bahru (JB) Rapid Transit System (RTS) extension is only till JB Sentral as mentioned in the tender.

But JB is also planning their own network of RTS.

But only after you have handed over your money for the JB property and in some cases, cannot get the title deeds.
Before that, everything in Iskandar will be sui sui. To entice you to think that it is safe and good.
After that you will start to experience high crime and a JB police that is not too keen to look into violent crimes against Singaporeans.
They don't really like you a lot and maybe high crime will make you all go back to Singapore.
Deliberate lackadaisical non-policing of violent crime becomes a social and economic weapon against specific groups.

Have personally heard from a Johorean lady that most Malaysians do not buy JB property first hand at high price because they buy it second hand dirt cheap from stupid Singaporeans desperate to get rid of JB property to cut their losses after experiencing uncontrolled crime. This was in a moment of frankness that she shared this secret.

The landed property and cheap car are attractive. But if violent crime happens to you or your family; and their police is nonchalant about it, then the place loses its appeal.

I agree things was getting out of hand five years ago.
I would not say they have totally eradicate crime, but it is much better on the serious crime front. Still a bit too much petty crime like bag snatching for my liking.
