Default [ Showcase ] Share your Birding Shots With M43

Use of Micro Four Third for birding is not very common in Singapore. Very often, we see large DSLR and hugh lenses, but birding is more fun done with lighter equipment since we normally walk a lot to find our subjects. Therefore, I thought of starting a thread for others to share some birding shots done with M43.

Thanks for sharing! I never knew so many birds species existed in Singapore.
I always thought it was only pigeons, crows and sparrows.

I don't normally affix to a brand, though there are some good china made ones like RJ, Kipon. or if you want even better quality ones metabones.

Thanks! I was lucky. The Waterhen waddled across right in front of me, chirping as it goes. The Imperial pigeon was right outside my flat, so were the Starlings. They were busy feeding off the berries. Haha...

Wang TH, great thread to start, I practically "museumed" my DSLR for birding after I got on M43, here's my contribution, all done with E-M5 + M.Zuiko 75-300mm, not a fast lens but IQ is great as far as I can see, most importantly small light gears allow me to move quickly and capture the moment.

    Sea Eagle

    Pacific Swallow

    Common Kingfisher

yap, but using this lens on GH2 not on E-M5. For E-M5 I am getting better results with MZ 75-300mm.
