    Default codecs

    i downloaded some codec and it screwed up on mp3 playback. any ideas how to revert back to windows original?

    Hi,
    If you are using Windows XP, go to programs/accessories/system tools and use system restore.

    Restore to the day before you installed the codec.

    Haha, thats pretty drastic.

    You're using Windows Media Player to play your mp3s? Why not use Winamp or other players instead?
