Default What to check when buying 2nd hand camera?

Any tips and things to look out for when buying 2nd hand DSLR? Thanks

first impression counts: if you have bad feelings when you first see it, then it is likely not good.

If you don't trust your instincts, follow simple guidelines for any equioment:

- feel for dent, scratches
- check every moving part is moving as it is supposed to , no noise
- internal is clean (detach the lens for this)
- dgital cam must take few shots at different exposures (make sure if you under, the result also under.
- zoom to max to see for spots in LCD

Best is to ask for 7 days personal warrenty.
