Default Panoramic Shots

Hi guys,

Is there a standard size for panorama pictures? standard ratio?

And, if i shoot digital, can photos be printed in panorama?

sorry I'm really clueless

For normal cameras, panorama is just a matter of cropping off the top and bottom of the picture so that it looks 'longer' when developed. I have a Nikon film camera with Panorama mode and that's exactly what it does when you look at the negative.

The same (cropping) applies to digital. As for standard ratio for printing, you should ask your local processing lab if they print panorama and what ratio they use.

standard pano print is 10" x 4" (ratio 10:4)
