I went down to the MacRitchie Reservoir Tree Walk today.
There was a school sports event going on. We made our way to the tree top walk, a 4km walk in the forest. The sun was scorching down on us.. but the kids were all prepared! ![]() |

A loop will suggest in and out being the same point yah?
![]() That said, the fastest way to treetop walk is prob via SICC! Take the Jeluntong Tower Path. |

Hello Nemesis. Its a fisheye lens thats why the distortion is so much. The shots taken by my other lens looked too normal so i didnt post them. I'm not sure about the path from Lower Pierce.. the trail maps didnt show it. Is it on the way to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve? |

It is very tiring if u walk from the "starting" , meaning from the carpark.. walk in like 5-6km. It will took u abt 1hr plus to get there. Depend who u go with, if got gals/kids. It better to take "slower" pace.

Just went this morning at 7am, and already we have a hard time finding a parking space. Boy, since the reservisor was opened up to the public, parking spaces are so hard to get. Many cars are just parking illegally arounds. The walk to the Tree Top Walk took us (me and my wife) 1+ hours, 6+km.. The tree top walk was "OK" (nothing fantastic really). The return trek was another 6+km (tree top walk trek is a loop, then going back same route to the carkpark). Boy, was it tiring, hot and sweatly!
For those who want to go in the evenng, note that the tree top walk closes at 5pm SHARP. The last climb up the hill (to reach the tree top) must be 4.45pm to make it for the last walk. Saw a couple of guys wearing jeans! Hehe.. good luck to them.. Bring lots of water. |
