    Default Muddy Colours

Hi guys what short of resolutions do you use for placing photos on the web?
I use 72 dpi but sometimes the photos looks muddy instead of being vibrant and sharp like the prints. Is 72 dpi the optimal or is this information incorrect?
    Thanks for any feedbacks.

Monitor not calibrated correctly might be one of the reason for unaccurate colours.

anothe reason is wrong colour profiles.
I'm not very strong in the colour profile topic but you can do a search in CS about it. It's been discussed over several times.

generally, for web publishing, do not save as adobe RGB, use sRGB.
