anybody know where to get those wimberley plamps?
http://www.tripodhead.com/products/plamp-main.cfm i dun really mind those cheaper versions... as long as it works like the ones shown in the wimberley site... thanks... or is there a possible MO?

$75 seem alright for the wimberley, since the listed price is USD36 already...

what sort of weight do you intend for it to hold? seen some cheapo type of flexible arm at one shop recently. some modifications may be necessary.

nothing heavy... maybe just a small reflector or hold some light objects... cos GOD gave me 2 hands...

The Wimberley Plamp has an arm that is made up of many different sections. You can actually shorten or lengthen the arm as you like.
I think the cheaper type of clamps has the 1-piece chicken wire arms that are very filmsy. Recently, one of the clamps on my Wimberley Plamp cracked. I got a free replacement from CP. ![]() |
