The CompactDrive can also function as a USB 2.0 portable hard disk with transfer speed up to 480Mbps (60MB/s) and 8-in-1 (CF Type I & II, MD, SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, XD) card reader when connected to the PC.

Items being rented out:
- Complete CompactDrive PD7X package
- IBM 20GB HDD
- 4 pcs Sanyo 2300mAh rechargeable batteries

Rental fees are as follows:
- $10 for first three days
- $3 per day in excess of 3 days

Terms and Conditions:
- Minimum 3 Days Rental
- Owner shall not be held responsible for any lost or corrupt images resulting from the use of the unit
- There will be a refundable deposit of S$100
- S$250 will be charged in the (unfortunate) event that the unit gets damaged or lost
- Photocopy of an ID (NRIC, Employment Pass, Student's ID etc) as well as contact numbers are required.
- Collection: Any MRT between Simei and City Hall
