Ortega!! Those shots are fantastic!!! Care to share what equipment you used? I was there but could barely get a shot for 2 reasons (cheap seats :P and poor equipment).

I was sitting at B4< I think that it costs me less than $50 per seat.
I was using a D70 and an old tokina 80-200mm F2.8.
I should have brought my monopod along.

ISO set to 800 - it was quite dark in there
WB Set to auto - lights were changing all the time
Meter set to matrix - there were 4 spotlights, but not all were used all the time, sometimes 1, 2, 3 and the best all 4.
A mode at F2.8
-0.7EV
Steady hands
Good eye

It was a difficult shot, dim light, forever changing, fast moving skaters, seated people infront. Bring a monopod and up your iso.

Disney on ice seems like a yearly affair. Front row tickets are expansive and limited.
My wife booked the tickets like 6 months back via credit card invitation.

For ticket prices check sistic

PP for colour reproduction? none.
In this situation, I decided to let the technology in the camera do the work,
while I just concentrate on getting the moment, focusing and keeping the camera still.

I guess that I was lucky that the spotlight operators were kind to me.

May I ask what's the advantage of setting the EV to -0.7? Cos normally my setting is +0.3.
