Just wonder does any of you clean the cam after the outing.
Thought with the sweaty palms, the camera grip and lens barrel areas should be quite dirty. how do you guys clean it, if any? |

After each outing, I wipe the cam, teleconverter and tripod mount, with a hot wet cloth (squeezed dry). Then it goes straight into the dry cabinet after I inspect the lens. |

For lenses, I use my lenspen and/or lens cleaning fluid and tissue but only when necessary. It has gotten so I seldom need to since I have developed a habit to the cap off only when I take a shot(s) and put it back on immediately after. |

I clean my camera body with a moist cloth, then wipe dry with a dry cloth afterthat, the strip can take out and wash... wash away all the dirt and sweat. As for the filter, use the lenspen and clean... Cheers... |

Erm... Is this anyhow posting? I was merely answering the question Lifeworld was asking about the camera grip & lens barrel areas. No offense. Cheers!

In any case, I use a blower for obvious dust on my lens and either the lens pen or the "spectacle cloth" for smudges. Not sure if it's just me but if I feel that the brush should only be used on the exterior. Using it on the lens will leave a trail on it. ![]() |

just sharing.... regarding cleaning of lenses, i heard an expert photographer shared his experience with me b4: using of cleaning fluid make it worst. best is dry cleaning. and use cloth instead of tissue paper. y? cos paper made from wood, cloth made from wool. get the pic?
