Need advice for teleconverter for A40

Saw an bid online just now, selling canon orig teleconverter TC-DC52 2.4x for A40 at $100. I'm not sure about the orig price of it, waiting for CP to reply to my e-quote.
I dunno whether should I get the second hand orig canon teleconverter or go for a brand new olympus C-210 1.9x? Any advice?
