Hi guys,
Simple question, can i use the SC-17 with my D70 and SB800? Or must i use the SC-29? I heard the SC-29 is iTTL but not the SC-17, is this true? Thanks! Ervine |

Correct me if I'm wrong:
The SC-17 is just 'extension cable'. The SC-29 can project the AF Assist grid from the hotshoe mount portion, hence even flash is position sideway, the grid is still projected from the same direction of the camera. |

As for SC-29, it's black, hotshoe adapter has a level-locking mechanism, there's an additional of AF-assist lamp (2 in fact) on the hotshoe adapter.
