How much does an IR filter 62mm costs? An approximation will do. Or if u can let me know how much u bought urs, and what diameter size, will be very helpful!!
Thanks in advance. Would like to know before I decide if I should head to the shops. |

Hoya IR72:
I bought my 52mm IR72 for about $40. 67mm would've cost be $296, and would have to be special ordered due to low demand. |

Buggers at Cathay must have given me a wrong quote over the damn phone. I've never purchased IR filters of that size before, so i wouldn't know better. I didn't buy it anyway. PHEW!

Hoya R72 estimated costs
- 62mm ~ S$50 - 72mm ~S$120 - 77mm ~S$200 Recommend getting a larger size (eg 62mm, 67mm or 72mm) and get step-up rings for your lens. 77mm is really expensive .... |
