Second, I don't think Beijing has implemented a COE-like system like Shanghai (pricey license plates). You should read the links... Thanks.
one and only or the first in the world or not doesn't interest us. we know that our minister or PS travel around the world to learn. i won't be surprise that they pick up the COE thingy along the way and fine-tune to the system local flavour..
well they say hong kong ppl need to buy a car-park lot before they can even buy a car..
at least we dont have to worry about no car park lot in singapore
"You know what the fellow said – in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."
- Harry Lime, The Third Man
Endure. In enduring grow strong.
Anyway, this need to buy car park lot is not the case throughout the whole of HKSAR.
Just as in the heart of Tokyo, property prices are very high, but NOT throughout the whole of Japan.
Laws and regulations like COE are different. They apply to the entire country.
