Coolscan Iii Ls30 Working With Winxp

I GOT THE NIKON COOLSCAN III LS30 WORKING WITH WIN XP

These are the neccessary files:

Nikon COOLSCAN III Firmware 131 from NIKON
Aspis version 471a2 from ADAPTEC
NikonScan 3_1_2 from NIKON

Installation:

1)Install de Aspis Layer.

2) Unzip NikonScan 3_1_2
In the folder INF/LS2000/XP are the drivers for COOLSCAN III.

SHUTDOWN THE COMPUTER !!!

3) Connect the COOLSCAN III to the SCSI, power on the LS30, power on the computer, when windows ask for drivers point to the above path. WindowsXP will install the drivers. If you like, after that, check in hardware section of WinXP, that the LS30 has been recognized.

4) Install the Firmware (follow the enclosed instructions)

5) Install NikonScan 3_1_2

That's all
