Default Nikon D70

Hi all,

Is D70 a good camera to buy ?

Also saw the thread on D70 problems. Would any D70 owners care to advise.

I recently saw the promo on D70 with lens for $88. Also heard from Nikon Singapore that IT fair coming soon and might have a promo (but not firm yet).

Please advise.

Hehe... good or not is very subjective, I prefer to look at the overall strengths than the overall weaknesses.

Some images taken with D70. Another one here.

IT Fair will retail it at the RRP of $1988, but it will come with more freebies.

Numerous people will bear witness that it is a great camera.
But still it comes down to you. Do u feel that this is the cam for you? Can u sense the affinity?

Enjoy shooting josho! That's the most important!

At least u came frm a prosumer cam, I jumped straight frm full automatic P&S to a DSLR and it took me even longer to get used to it. My skills still ain't there, but hope to achieve something... Better mood shots!

And BTW, having experienced the D70 a couple of times and coming frm da Canon camp, I must admit, the D70 has got a great feel to it.

Just becareful, not doubting Andydinh or anything, but warranty cards must be chopped by Nikon Singapore and a valid receipt must be used to claim warranty.

Im still half past 6 on shooting. Need to shoot more and practise hard. There are lots of thing to learn from the cam. Hehe Im currently looking for the hand grip to hold to the cam as its real heavy as I dun sling onto my neck.

You gotta be kiddin? The D70 is really light. Sometimes I even wish it was heavier.

U should go for more photo shoots to train stamina and endurance. After sometime, u won't even feel that you're holding the camera.
