    Default A "Design" related Photographic Portfolio

    Guys, i nid ur valuable input.

    I am supposed to do a Photographic Portfolio which nids to relate to the theme Design.

    to take photos of places which will represent Design and Creativity.

    As long as it can be related to Design, it will be good.

    Hope u guys can help me. U may also give me places and address which i can or maybe go for a shoot of the place or what so ever..

    if you are creative, anything also got design. try the toliets, see shapes & textures from things.

    try graffiti art from toilets,

    hanging clothes, accessories to shoot a range from the toliet hooks

    shoot all the unflush toilets

    shoot all the state of toliet paper being pull and the different length.

    just an example, an idea.

    hmmm.. true... but to find places of creativity and design is hard.. in Singapore.. maybe you guys noe ma.... lol....

    creativity is how you use the bamboo pole holders at the back of your flat ...



    i believe you are a design student as well, give it some thought, don't be lazy

    yah....... lecturer did tell me to go out and shoot anything related to design, but instead of going out shooting blindly and get rejected, might as well seek u guys for places that i may nt even think of ?? nt lazy la... its juz tat i dun want to do double job la... i have only 4 days to finish 2 portfolios leh....

    realll ? tat avatar... lol..... no comments... sometimes see liao.. find it rather interesting too..

    Here's something to think about. Supporting beams for roof structures of buildings.

    They do have some interesting criss-cross design at times.

    We all shoot looking 90 degrees forward or side. How abt 180 degrees upwards or downwards?

    Maybe you can try shooting designers at work or elements in the process of design and other creative work. Hope i'm not misguiding you

    no ur nt.. haha.. tats nice too..

    i was also wondering.... where can i find bulidings which is old ?? as in they still retain their original structure, maybe they are repainted but they are nt modified into air-con shop houses ??

    i went around today, took some images, and guess wad i saw... tat guy was holding a D2X in TCW today.... anyone saw him ?? lol.... he was with a D2X without lens.. juz the body itself one...

    Creativity part inside the esplanade
    Sometimes you must think outside of your field.

    or can try fort canning, there is a dance / drama studio, I think

    what about emerald hill.. someone also told me that there's a few good place in demsey road (don't know bout that cause i haven't been there b4) .. but mb it's worth a try.
    or the 2-dimensional building near plaza park hotel.

    every form, shape, colour, feel ... has its reason, there's design in everything, there's design in nature, it's just how you frame it in photography

    i was wondering if u guys heard that there is a webby or somekind that have custom curves for PS ? like to edit the picture to have it a look like slides ??

    i was looking for curves for my PS. hmm help ?? anyone ??

    looking for the Velvia and Provia and Astia curves for PS... have such a thing ????

    the curves are for the D70 not for PS, look for links in the nikon forum.

    Try shooting the UOB Plazas from under the bridge at the new Parliament House.Juxtapose the angular lines with the criss crossing bridge trusses as viewed from below.
