Default Nikon 3700 still gd?

Considering 2 get a Nikon 3700, is the $399 promo still on? Or is there any gd Nikon pt&shoot for under $400? Just wanna get a compact camera esp 1 that takes rather gd nite shots.

You may want to wait for one more week to see as the IT show have may better promotion or price reduce.

my colleague is using it... she is quite happy with the photos printed from Kodak loyal paper.

I'm still deciding what to get for a PnS... how folks? Preferrably one that uses CF since I've so many CF cards.

Too big dude I'm a bit sian of lugging even a D70 + 50 f/1.8, want something light for a change, maybe the new CoolPix 5900.

I have been using a 3700 for over 1.5 years, like it a lot. Like the small size and the pic quality.

You might wanna check out the price at Alan Photo. It's much cheaper there than the promoted price printed on News Paper. A friend of mine bought one for $360 over one month ago, which came with all the freebies as promoted by Nikon (256mb SD card, mini tripod, leather case).

Btw the offical Nikon Promo over already? I always like the Nikon 3700 but didnt bought it coz i want a camera with manual ctrls so since my family wants a compact camera nw nw is my chance to finally get it!
